About us

Crazy But Able is a weblog started in August 2003 by John Wilson. His idea was that it would be nice to have a place to post things that his friends had written, particularly friends who didn’t have weblogs. Crazy But Able would be a “weblog for people who otherwise wouldn’t.”

This page will eventually hold bios and pictures of each Crazy But Able author.

John Wilson

John Wilson came to college just as the whole “Information Superhighway” thing was taking off in 1995. His primary .com regret was not buying Apple stock at 7 dollars a share in 1997. His current Goal Of Futility is to finish writing some photo posting software for Keir. He lives in St. Paul Minnesota with his wife Peggy, their daughter Caroline, and Peggy’s cat, Meriska.

Keir Morse

Keir is a migrant field botanist who thoroughly appreciates unemployment insurance. He’s known John since fifth grade when they were Webelos together.

Corey Morse

Corey has a degree in graphic design. He worked in that field for a number of years before getting laid off. Since then he was forced to become a tour guide, a situation which he blames on Bush for the lack of anyone better, as well as a lack of desire to hold himself responsible in any way.

Matt Lefler

John got the idea for Crazy But Able from talking to Matt online one day.

Hi I’m Matt. I live with my wife, Paula, and our 3 year old daughter
in Pennsylvania. I’ve recently started a new career. My new job is to
be a guy. There are lots of things going on. If you want to know just
ask.

Check out my blog www.therealmarriedman.blogspot.com.

Heather Brown

Heather is another one of John’s friends from high school. She used to post regularly until her new job gave her something to do at work.

Paul Weber

John gave Paul a posting account: he posted once, and then moved on to greater things.
